Terms of use

This magazine publishes researched information about a regulated field; using it carries the ordinary responsibilities of a reader.

Citizens Radio Review publishes information about community radio, low-power FM broadcasting and the adjacent online media. By using this site you accept the terms below.

Information, not a law office

The magazine explains FCC rules in plain language for orientation, not representation. It is not legal advice, it does not substitute for the Commission’s own publications, and no reader relationship with the FCC or any station arises from reading it. A filing, an interference answer or a tower decision belongs with a qualified engineer or counsel, and the rules desk exists to make those conversations faster, not to replace them.

Facts move

Filing windows, point criteria, channel availability and mileage figures change with rulemakings and terrain. Every number here was real at the time of writing, but verify the current state against the FCC’s databases before relying on it, and send corrections to the address on the contact page; the correction method is stated in the editorial policy.

Liability and content

The magazine is written with care, but the site accepts no liability for decisions, filings, expenses or losses arising from its use. Sponsored placements, where they exist, are labelled and governed by the sponsored content page. The site’s handling of visitor data is described in the privacy policy.
